Everyone always asks what is the lavender doing at Purple Ranch. Well I guess that is determined by whether you are in the front yard or the back field. The photo you see is from the front yard. For some reason these guys just decided to bloom first. This small field has a variety of lavenders that we have been testing for our environment. As you can see they are doing quite well. All the Purple Ranch Hands have been preparing for Mom's visit from the master gardeners. I have been busy building the pergola which is starting to shape up. Still a lot of work to be done.
